The OSS orthopaedic surgeons perform a variety of surgical procedures to correct deformities, repair fractures and manage disease.
All of the OSS physicians provide care for general orthopaedic issues involving the muscles, joints and bones, but many of our surgeons have additional, specialized surgical training in specific areas of orthopaedics, referred to as "fellowship training". This type of training requires an orthopaedic surgeon to complete a year or more of surgical training in a specific area of orthopaedics. Some of those areas include spine, joint replacement, shoulder or sports medicine. This gives the surgeon an area of specialty and expertise. Please refer to the Provider section of our website for information on all of our providers including their specialty, education and training.
At the OSS Orthopaedic Hospital, we have many of the orthopaedic specialties covered. So if you need surgery, our fellowship-trained surgeons have the additional training and experience to get you back to doing the things you enjoy.
Need a hip or knee replacement? The OSS Orthopaedic Hospital was awarded a Disease-Specific Care Certification for joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee. This indicates that OSS's joint replacement program complies with the most stringent standards of performance to ensure the best care and outcomes for patients needing a joint replacement. Check out our Joint Reconstruction link below for more information.
